Our Mission Statement

The Claremont Senior Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization registered in New Hampshire, to benefit senior citizens in Claremont, NH and the surrounding area. This organization enhances networking and provides educational, health, nutritional, artistic, social and recreational opportunities and resources.

An idea becomes a reality!

The Claremont Senior Center, Inc. was founded in 1997. This came about due to some visionaries thinking about the need of a center for the 4,000 plus seniors who then resided in Claremont and the surrounding area.

Today, it is a reality!

Claremont Senior Center membership is open to all independent seniors who are over 50 years old. Claremont Senior Center is a community focal point where older adults come together for service and activities that reflect their experience and skills, respond to their diverse need and interests, support their independence and encourage involvement in and with the center and the community. Claremont Senior Center is self funded through membership dues, donations, fundraising, rentals of our facility and grants.

The center is not only a place to gather for enjoyment but a place to turn to when one has questions or needs help. Senior centers offer many activities and programs specifically geared for seniors that can brighten their lives.

In order to meet the needs of older adults, the Claremont Senior Center, Inc. offers services and activities within the center and links participants with resources offered by other agencies. The center programs consist of variety of individual and group services and activities.
