The Knitting and Crafts Group – from Cindy Barriger

The knitter crafter group of our Senior Center makes hats and mittens for the children at Claremont Head Start. Again this year we are short of knitters. We usually need 36 sets for the two classes of 4-5 year olds.

If you would like to join us at the center, we can provide you with patterns and assistance. If you’d rather make them at home, that’s fine too.

We have a limited supply of donated yarn if you need it. If you have questions, please CALL CINDY Barriger at 542-4048. Please leave me a message if I’m not home. consider joining us—We’re a fun group!

Do you have something that you would like to share? Have you had any new babies born in your family, any marriages, any sports awards, any graduations or just some cute or funny stories that you would like to share with members? Most people that I know enjoy hearing about other people’s good fortune or get a laugh out of others funny happenings. Don’t be afraid to share them. Put on your thinking caps.

The Claremont Senior Center, Inc. has made available the Rules of Participation/ Code of Conduct for it’s members to follow. Please read the following guidelines. Code of Conduct
