The Claremont Senior Center publishes a weekly news column in the Cornish Connect website.The weekly news includes updates on the following information.
Claremont Senior Center is open every Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. We are also open Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm. We have many (pool, card games, cribbage, puzzles, mahjong, knitting and quilting to name a few) activities. Miracle Ear, Blood Drive and VNA Foot Clinic are also scheduled.

Reservations ARE also required for indoor seating AND take out. The menu is available on the Claremont Cafe page. A printed copy is available at the reception desk. Meals are always subject to change.Sit in meals begins at 11:45 am and drive thru pick up at 12 pm.
Foot Clinics are at the center, sponsored by Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice with a charge of $30. You MUST call 603-748-1731 to make an appointment with them.
WE hold BINGO every Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday afternoon Bingo is a popular activity for our seniors (must be at least 55 years old). You MUST purchase your cards BY 12:45 and the games begin at 1:00 pm. Concession is opened, just until Bingo starts, to purchase your lunch. We average around 30 – 40 seniors who love to attend, visit with their friends and try to win a little extra money.
Blood Drive – American Red Cross schedules monthly drives one Monday each month from 12-5 pm Please call 1-800-Red-Cross (1-800-733-2767) to schedule appointment. Blood donors are desperately needed.
Women’s Pool – Do you want to be part of the game of pool? Ladies play every Monday from 9-12 or Thursday from 12-3. Come be a part of this fun activity with like-minded women.
Men’s Pool – Come have some fun and spirited games of pool every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-12. All men are welcome.
Quilting Bee– Come tell your story with the quilting skills you want to share with other quilters. You don’t have to be a quilter to attend bring your own project. Call the center to find when the next Quilting session is.
Line Dancing – Bring your dancing feet every Monday evening. Beginners are at 6:30PM to 7:30PM. Intermediate starts at 7:30PM to 9:00 PM. This is Free for members, $5.00 for non- members. The price covers both sessions. Bring your own beverage and a snack if you need one.
Chair Yoga is held Monday mornings 9:30-10:30 AM. Members are free, non- members $5 per class. Call or come in to sign up 603-543-5998.
New members are always welcome to come enjoy our facility. You can sign up for a free “one- month trial membership”. That way you can enjoy our programs and activities before you join us.
